- Reach the lake from the dock moments down the road, or the nearby sandy beach for swimming.
- Wildlife is everywhere: moose, deer, owls, eagles and pheasants, plus foraging for mushrooms, berries and wildflowers.
- The property is ringed by a low electric fence that keeps out wild boar while letting other wildlife pass freely.
